Gypsy Trip promises ‘new tunes,’ two great gigs

The musical group Gypsy Trip includes UW-Green Bay professors Stefan Hall, guitar; Adam Gaines, trumpet; and Michelle McQuade Dewhirst, horn and vocals; along with Lada Gaines, accordion; and Michael Dewhirst, bass. They have two upcoming gigs: The first is this Friday (Sept. 20), 8 to 10 p.m. at the Black Boot in De Pere, followed by a date the following Friday, Sept. 27, at the Adams Street Pub in downtown Green Bay. (It’s their debut at Adams Street, and they’ll play from 8 p.m. until… well… until they’re done playing, much later.)
