One-week countdown to the first of many ‘Phoenix Fridays’ on campus

A large contingent of people and departments are leading an effort to increase school spirit and pride. Tabbed “Phoenix Friday,” the promotion will be a weekly feature of the fall calendar on campus but actually begins next Friday, Aug. 8, with a soft launch coinciding with the Admission Office’s final Summer Preview Day. Wear your green, and look for a special “Get the Scoop” on the Student Services plaza, a #PhoenixFriday social presence, a 20% discount at The Phoenix Bookstore on all UWGB/Phoenix apparel, and a 10% discount at campus dining locations for wearing your Phoenix gear. On at least one Friday of each month, beginning Aug. 29, you will uncover food specials, chances to meet campus celebrities, mini-pep rallies, giveaways, school song lyrics training, office decorating, and more.  Want to join the Phoenix Friday undercurrent?
