Fashion fad: Got Furlough?

In a promotion obviously targeted at UW-Green Bay employeees, a source from the Phoenix Bookstore tells us that, all in good fun, starting this afternoon (Wednesday, July 29), $12.99 will buy you a t-shirt imprinted with the message “got furlough?” Make a pointed fashion statement or a tongue-in-cheek gesture of solidarity with your colleagues in this white-on-forest-green item. Also, be sure to ask about the 3.1 percent employee discount. (They’ll say “no,” of course, and hit you instead with the 5.5 percent sales tax, but you’ll feel better for having asked.) We’re told supplies are limited.
