Summer scholarships: Two awards announced

Nursing student Mollie Schonberg has been selected to receive the 2011 Mary Blake Single Parent Scholarship, a $500 award sponsored by OnlineNursingDegrees.org. Schonberg hails from Ironwood, Mich. Also of note (though not technically a summer scholarship) is an award mentioned in a Monday (July 19) column in the Green Bay Press-Gazette. UW-Green Bay student Linda LaPlante received one of two $1,000 scholarships during the Green Bay branch of the American Association of University Women’s annual spring luncheon. The event was held in May at the Clarion Hotel in downtown Green Bay.
