Summer harvest: Get your greens, beets and more, right here!

The campus gardens on the Student Services Plaza are producing in abundance! The SLO Food Alliance student organization will be selling local organic produce to the campus community at a stand outside of the Dean of Students Office starting Friday afternoon (July 2). The stand will not be staffed, so sales will be on the honor system. Produce will be in coolers, packaged and priced; patrons are asked to bring sufficient (exact) change, and put their payment in the lockbox.   Watch this space for future announcements about what produce is available at any given time, but please know that quantities are limited, and harvests are only occasional. “Your patience is appreciated, as is your support of this ambitious student project.”

Available July 2: Lettuce, peas, beets, zucchini, red and yellow onions, and Swiss chard.
