You’re invited: ‘Securing Foundation Support During a Time of Recovery’

UW-Green Bay’s Institute for Research is offering a local opportunity to view the national web conference “Securing Foundation Support During a Time of Recovery.” The session takes place this Thursday (June 25) from 1 to 3 p.m. in MAC Hall Room 133. The conference is open to the entire campus community. The webinar’s featured presenter is Larry McGill, senior vice president of research for the nonprofit Foundation Center. McGill will discuss what foundations throughout the country are doing to address the recession and how colleges and universities can best work with economic recovery efforts underway in their communities. The web conference will include data on foundation funding trends and guidance as to how institutions can better focus their grant-seeking efforts.
