Nook to fill niche as System’s academic affairs VP
The Capital Times of Madison is reporting that Rebecca Martin, the senior vice president for academic affairs with the UW System, is resigning her post to take a new position with the U.S. Education Delivery Institute in Washington, D.C. The organization describes its mission as closing the “achievement gap.” The report says Mark Nook, the provost and vice chancellor at UW-Stevens Point, will replace Martin in an interim capacity for one year, starting Aug. 1.
