UW-Green Bay Music will present a fun, innovative concert May 10, featuring its New Music and Hand Drumming ensembles. This 34th and final concert of the 2012-13 season will kick off with the New Music Ensemble, under the direction of Associate Prof. Adam Gaines, which will perform a mix of new compositions and its own works. After a brief intermission, the Hand Drumming Ensemble will take the stage, under the direction of Prof. Cheryl Grosso. The hand drummers will play several of Grosso’s original compositions and also traditional Ghanaian music from the country’s Volta Region. Tickets are just $7 and $5. Full details.
