Congratulations to the Broken Scissors team! Members Angela Kleinhans, Ashley Grant and James Ward won first place in the first Spring 2014 Quiz Bowl at UW-Green Bay hosted by the University Union. “The teams may have been a little jumbled, but every contestant enjoyed it,” said event organizer Alex Schwartz, who thanked each of the participating teams including the Kitties and Vicious and Delicious for playing! As first-place winners, each of the Broken Scissors competitors had his or her knowledge acknowledged with a coupon for a free sandwich at the Shorewood clubhouse, Cheapseats tickets and a wonderful certificate suitable for framing.
