Baird Creek group hosts 11th annual clean-up

The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation announces the 11th annual clean-up — as well as an oak savannah restoration project — as part of Earth Week 2009 this Saturday (April 18) from 9 a.m. to noon at Triangle Hill (500 Beverly Road, just off Baird Creek Road). They invite one and all to “Bring your family and enjoy light refreshments courtesy of Kavarna starting at 8:30 a.m. Bring gloves and shovels if you want to help with the planting, and garbage bags will be provided.” Questions can be directed to Maureen Meinhardt at 328-3505 or execdirector@bairdcreek.org
