Lakes convention keynote is open to all
Our friends at the UW Extension Lakes Partnership in Stevens Point are offering a heads-up about a statewide event taking place Tuesday through Thursday (April 9-11) at the KI Convention Center downtown. The 35th annual Wisconsin Lakes Partnership Convention will focus on the theme “We’re All in This Together: Celebrating Diversity,” and will include numerous sessions and presentations focusing on various aspects of lakes and conservation. Award-winning filmmaker and speaker Alison Argo will offer the closing keynote address, “Stories of Hope from the Natural Word,” at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, April 11. Argo’s talk is free and open to the public. More details.
