Friday’s NAS Seminar features SNC researcher on invasives, inland lakes

Prof. Carrie Kissman of the St. Norbert College biology and environmental science faculty is the featured speaker for the Natural and Applied Sciences Seminar scheduled for Friday (April 5) with a social at 3 p.m. in ES 317 and presentation at 3:30 p.m. in ES 328. Her topic is “How do species invasions, climate change and eutrophication affect lake ecosystems?” She has studied more than 50 inland lakes and is working specifically on measures that show promise in reducing algae blooms resulting from eutrophication. NAS Seminar Series programs are free and open to all.
