Retaining diverse faculty symposium upcoming

Faculty members are invited to sign up for the upcoming symposium “Supporting and Retaining Diverse Faculty: Research, Scholarship, Mentoring and Tenure” at the UW-Milwaukee Union on April 16-17. The scholarly presentations will be made by faculty members from a wide variety of disciplines, including: curriculum and instruction; foreign languages and literatures; sociology; social work; English; educational psychology; history; urban studies; Africology; educational policy studies; geography; accounting; marketing; and STEM fields such as biology, chemistry, and engineering. The symposium is sponsored by the UW Institute on Race and Ethnicity. Priority deadline for registration (reduced registration fee), and for the hotel room block, is Monday, March 30.
