Women host playoff opener on Wednesday

The UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team (26-3), needing three wins for an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, opens Horizon League tournament play Wednesday night (March 10) with a 7 o’clock tip. The likely rival is instate rival UW-Milwaukee, seeded No. 9, which as of this writing Monday night, has a big second-half lead over No. 8 Valparaiso. Tickets for the Kress Center game are available through the Athletics Ticket Office.
