Reminder: Thursday’s Lawton Gallery opening

“Post-Conceptual Glitter: A Mastery of Fine Art Exhibition,” opens this Thursday (March 7) with a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Lawton Gallery. Guest curated by alumnus Scott Vanidestine, the show features works by 26 current and former students in the MFA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The artworks span a wide range of media and include a picnic installation, and you are invited to come and “roll on the floor laughing” carpet.
