For green reasons, please don’t order new printers before April 15
In support of UW-Green Bay’s goals involving sustainability and “going green,” the Information Services Division and the Purchasing Office are collaborating on a study of multi-use imaging/printing equipment. There is an opportunity to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce energy consumption by migrating away from multiple devices to support office technology, and toward multi-functional devices. Please do not order new printers before April 15. At that time, Kathy Pletcher of Information Services and Linda Dupuis of Purchasing will have recommendations for a more sustainable approach for office technology. If you have an immediate critical need to replace a printer, please contact Helen Alexander at 2516 or Grace Lindner at 2693.
