Kelly Kramp of the University Union staff informs us of a professional development opportunity for an hour on each of two consecutive Tuesdays. From 1 to 2 p.m. on Feb. 15 and again on Feb. 22, guest presenter Eric Stoller will lead Part I and then Part II of “Campus Auxiliary Services Marketing in 2011: Social Media, Mobile Apps, and Sustainable Strategies for Success.” Location TBA. Says Kramp, “You’ll learn the latest strategies for creating a social media listening station and will learn how to effectively utilize: Facebook Places, Twitter Fast Follow, Foursquare, YouTube, SCVNGR, and QR Codes.” This started out as a student and student-affairs event, but is now open to any and all. E-mail krampk@uwgb.edu for additional details, as they become available.
