Free blood-pressure screening is part of Friday’s Wear Red Day on campus
High blood pressure is one of the most common risk factors for heart disease. Have your blood pressure checked by one of UW-Green Bay’s Health Services nurses at the Go Red booth display this Friday (Feb. 4) between noon and 2 p.m. at the Union. Friday is national Wear Red Day to highlight the dangers of heart disease, especially among women.

Reminder: The awareness activities begin Wednesday (Feb. 2) when Paula Fleurant — nurse, heart-disease survivor and UW-Green Bay grad — talks at noon in a brownbag session in Phoenix C of the Union. Her topic is women and heart disease. For details on the event, click here.
