The UW-Green Bay student organization Feeding the Hungry and Reducing Waste (FHRW) is in the midst of a video competition for a sizable grant. The money would help FHRW students afford essential kitchen equipment, food safety training, shelf-stable pantry staples, and much more needed for their ambitions of making UWGB a strong affiliate of the Campus Kitchens Project. Individuals can view and vote for FHRW’s video once daily, from each device until Wednesday (Jan. 29) at http://www.campuskitchens.org/uwgb/. Anyone interested in learning more about the nationwide Campus Kitchens Project can visit http://www.campuskitchens.org/mission/.
