Reminder: Jordanian scholar lectures Thursday at Neville

Visiting scholar Salameh Naimat from the University of Jordan will deliver a pair of lectures in the coming days. (See our previous post.)

• His first lecture, “Nabataeans: History and Civilization” will address an ancient people of the Middle East in a talk scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 27) at the Neville Public Museum in downtown Green Bay.

• A second lecture, “Mecca in Pre-Islamic Arabia,” is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. next Monday (Jan. 31) in Rose Hall 250 as part of the Historical Perspectives lecture series.
