Minus 20 or not, the show must go on!
At UW-Green Bay — despite the coldest weather in decades — the show must go on.
That show is a hot musical comedy: UW-Green Bay’s production of Avenue Q, The Musical, which will be presented at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Monday, Jan. 6) on the Weidner Center mainstage. Tonight’s show is a fundraiser for UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance and UW-Green Bay Music, which will present the edgy musical Friday (Jan. 10) at the American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) in Saginaw, Mich. Cast and crew will be rehearsing load-in (putting up the set for a traveling production) on the Weidner stage today, and working on individual acting auditions for the Irene Ryan scholarship competition, also offered at the festival. After the show, cast and crew will be striking the set and loading it into trucks for their big trip. Read more on tonight’s performance.
