5K run/walk to benefit Phoenix cross-country

The fifteenth annual Phoenix 5K Run/Walk is set for 10:15 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Kress Events Center. It’s a benefit for the men’s and women’s cross-country programs at UW-Green Bay. There’s also a half-mile kiddie run at 10 a.m.. For UW-Green Bay students and staff, it’s $12 pre-registered and $15 on race day. Coach Mike Kline promises many nice prices for the silent auction – a Packer football, a framed Phoenix women’s hoops picture, hotel/waterpark packages, a casino/hotel package, and more – and random prize drawings.
