Welcoming Wardle: Snapshots from Thursday

Saying he was “honored, humbled and excited about becoming the head coach of the men’s basketball team at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay,” Brian Wardle addressed local media, friends and fans at a press conference Thursday afternoon, April 15, at the Kress Events Center.

Athletics Director Ken Bothof, who confirmed the appointment of Wardle a few hours previous, said that it was Wardle’s ability to communicate his plan for the future of the program, and the steps he would take to get there, that separated him from the other candidates who were interviewed for the position.
