Campus Cookout is opportunity to recognize retirees
It has become tradition that the annual employee cookout each May is an opportunity to thank and recognize that year’s retirees. What follows is not a comprehensive list (some prefer to keep things confidential)… and not all of those listed here will attend Tuesday’s mid-day Campus Cookout at the Kress… but it’s an impressive roster nonetheless of recent or soon-to-be retirees:
• Ron Baba, Associate Professor, Arts & Visual Design, retiring in May with 38 years of state service
• Sharon Brandt, Program Manager, Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium; retiring in May with 17 years of state service
• Randy Christopherson, Director, Public Safety, retiring in June with 18 years of state service
• Larry Delemater, HVAC/Refrigeration Specialist, Facilities Management, retired in March with 15 years of state service
• Lynn Doudna, Financial Specialist, Information Services, retired in February with 34 years of state service
• Laura Gonnering, Custodial Services Supervisor, Operations, retired in March with 23 years of state service
• John Hagermann, Custodian, Operations, retiring in June with 11 years of state service
• Jan Hess, Operations Program Associate, Public Safety, retiring in June with 25 years of state service
• Trudy Jacobson, Academic Adviser, Adult Degree, retired in January with 21 years of state service
• Joan Keberlein, Police Services Associate, Public Safety, retired in March with 29 years of state service
• Mike Kraft, Professor, Public & Environmental Affairs, retiring in May with 33 years of state service
• Karen Lacey, Senior Lecturer, Human Biology, retiring in May with 17 years of state service
• Twila Marquardt, Academic Department Associate, Human Development, retired last August with 37 years of state service
• Bill Niedzwiedz, Professor, Public & Environmental Affairs, retiring in May with 30 years of state service
• Lloyd Noppe, Professor, Human Development, retiring in July with 30 years of state service
• Judy Parins, University Services Associate, NEW Partnership for Children & Families, retired last July with 28 years of state service
• Pat Ragan, Associate Professor, Education, retiring in June with 16 years of state service
• Ron Ronnenberg, Director, Financial Aid, retired last October with 33 years of state service
• Mary Ann Rose, University Services Program Associate, Counseling & Health Services, retiring in May with 41 years of state service
