UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary L. Miller addressed the importance of higher education to the community, and the importance of community support for the University, in remarks last Friday evening (Oct. 24) at the annual Chancellor’s Scholarship Dinner. More than 200 campus and community leaders attended the event — a fundraiser for the UW-Green Bay student scholarship fund — which took place at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Miller, who joined UW-Green Bay in August, received a standing ovation at the conclusion of his address.
