Green Bay Metro’s ‘College Express’ takes students, faculty and staff downtown
A new route, “College Express,” was added to the Green Bay metro route on Monday, August 20, 2018 to help college students get to the downtown area of Green Bay. College students from UW-Green Bay and NWTC can now hop on a bus that runs every half an hour between 7:15 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. and makes a stop at the Transit Center. UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary L. Miller said that the new transit line will “break some of the barriers for our students, faculty and staff.” Chancellor Miller also says the route will increase the number of students downtown, and improve joint programming between NWTC and UW-Green Bay.
