13th Annual Faculty Development Conference

It will take place Jan. 22 in the University Union. The theme is “Creative and Critical Thinking.” Keynote speaker is the renowned Craig E. Nelson, professor emeritus of biology at Indiana University and a Carnegie Scholar. His teaching papers address critical thinking and mature valuing, diversity, active learning, teaching evolution and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Awards include several for distinguished teaching, the IU President’s Medal for Excellence, and Outstanding Research and Doctoral University Professor of the year 2000 from Carnegie/CASE. “You don’t want to miss it.
