UW-Green Bay offers autumn 2009 courses for educators

GREEN BAY — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is planning more than 20 autumn 2009 offerings for educators who wish to obtain license renewal, seek salary advancement, or achieve personal and professional developmental goals.

Educators can discover and learn how to apply the latest technology innovations in their classrooms, learn from literacy experts in the graduate course, “Increasing Student Comprehension by Strengthening Literacy Practices,” take a historical journey through the first half-century of space exploration in the online graduate course, “The History of Spaceflight,” and more.

UW-Green Bay courses for educators are for graduate credit unless indicated otherwise in the website listing. Face-to-face and online learning formats are offered. Visit www.uwgb.edu/educationoutreach for a complete listing of the programs, syllabi and registration information. Space is limited and registration is recommended at least two weeks prior to the start of the course.

UW-Green Bay courses for educators align with Wisconsin standards for teacher and administrator development and licensure. New offerings are added throughout the year and may be found on the website.
