Look for us at Lambeau: UW-Green Bay Day is Nov. 15

The on-campus buzz is growing about UW-Green Bay Day at Lambeau Field, coming up Saturday, Nov. 15. This no-cost celebration of the University’s partnership with the Green Bay Packers kicks off (get it?) at 9 a.m. and will feature a host of enjoyable activities including inflatables, face painting and other stuff for kids, live music, prizes, fun and competition with Phoenix athletes, an autograph session with a Packers great, plenty of UW-Green Bay info and much more. At 2:30 p.m., UW-Green Bay Day participants can join Phoenix basketball fans, cheerleaders and the UW-Green Bay dance team on a spirit walk from Lambeau to the Resch Center ahead of the men’s basketball home opener versus the University of Illinois-Springfield (attendees will need to buy a ticket to get into the game).

Organizers are encouraging everyone to attend, and they also are in need of faculty and staff volunteers to help the day run smoothly. They’re asking for two hours of work, but volunteers are welcome to stay all day if they like. To check out volunteer opportunities and sign up, visit http://vols.pt/8mgib4.
