Staff note: Press-Gazette profiles Outreach’s Moore ahead of Arti Gras show
UW-Green Bay Outreach and Adult Access staffer Dan Moore was profiled on the front page of Sunday’s (March 2) Green Bay Press-Gazette Life and Family section, discussing his photography ahead of this weekend’s Arti Gras event at Shopko Hall. Moore, who specializes in photographing the National Parks, spoke with reporter Daniel Higgins about his craft — and the time it takes to get it right. “That’s one of the secrets to photography: There’s a lot of crap,” Moore said. “People look at their own stuff and go, ‘well, I’m no good.” My hit rate gets better the more experienced I get, but there’s a whole lot of garbage. No one needs to see all the things that didn’t work to get to the one thing that did.” You can check out the full story, including several of Moore’s images, click here.
