Alumni guitarist visits for free recital

GREEN BAY — Jeffrey Jaworski, a guitarist in Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley, returns to his alma mater Wednesday, Nov. 19, to give a free public performance at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Jean Weidner Theater inside the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
His classical guitar recital includes a variety of styles from Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Sarabande and Bourrée from Violin Partita No. 1” to South American guitarist Jorge Gomez Crespo’s “Norteña.”

In addition to being an active guitarist, Jaworski maintains a private studio at the Music Lesson Center in downtown Eau Claire. He has been featured with the Master Singers on Wisconsin Public Radio.

Jaworski graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2003 with a major in music and minors in business and accounting.
