Faculty note: Morgan
Eric J. Morgan, assistant professor of Democracy and Justice Studies, recently returned from Savannah, Ga., where he presented a paper at the Popular Culture and American Culture Association in the South annual conference. Morgan’s paper, “Shaken and Not Stirred: Alcohol and the Imagined Spy,” examines the centrality of drinking, dependence, and high-functioning alcoholism in the spy novels of Ian Fleming, Graham Greene, and John le Carré.
