Freshman from Manitowoc wins Alumni Association tuition raffle

Congratulations, Christine Minter. The freshman from Manitowoc had her name drawn this week in the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association Tuition Raffle. Minter, who plans a career in health care, will receive more than $3,000 to cover the tuition portion of her spring school costs. The raffle, organized by the Alumni Association with help from Kari Moody of Alumni Relations, is a major fundraiser for the Association. Tickets for purchase by mail were sent to all students living in Wisconsin and were available for sale in the Alumni Office and at summer alumni events. Those who bought tickets for $5 each or $20 for five got a chance at free tuition for the student of their choice. Two other students, Tyler Spradau and Holly Joy Free, won $250 consolation prizes.
