One noteworthy moth, sighted near the Union
Earlier this week, staff members tidying up leaves and spent flowers in the planters just outside the Union’s Corner Store discovered a remarkable creature buzzing the flowers. They initially thought it might be a baby hummingbird, but upon closer inspection and after a little internet research, they’re confident they saw a hummingbird moth. Don’t know if it’s still hanging around, but if you’re near the University Union and the purple flowers, be on the lookout. See website, ID guide.
