New video: Fun, healing go hand-in-hand at Camp Lloyd

UW-Green Bay’s Camp Lloyd wrapped up its eighth successful year Friday (June 21), providing fun and healing for area children who are grieving the death of a loved one. Thirty-three kids attended the weeklong day camp, headquartered at the Mauthe Center on campus, participating in traditional camp activities and specialized sessions on grief and healing. We stopped by throughout the week to capture some of the many highlights, and hear the stories of those — campers and big buddies (trained student interns) alike — for whom Camp Lloyd has made a difference.
