More kudos for Meder: ‘Uncommon Beauty’ a finalist for award

Log readers may remember the post about Margaret Meder and her husband Randy Meder (associate professor of Music at UW-Green Bay) who shared their inspirational personal story of raising a child with special medical needs. Margaret’s book Uncommon Beauty: Crisis Parenting from Day One is now one of three Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) Benjamin Franklin Awards 2013 finalists in the Best New Voice (Nonfiction) category. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in New York on May 29. Stay tuned for results.
