Congressman’s news conference to address green technologies

Interim Chancellor David Ward will join Congressman Steve Kagen, Foth CEO Tim Weyenberg and Wisconsin Environment Director Dan Kohler at a news conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, in the Union’s 1965 Room, to announce a new study by Wisconsin Environment on the economic impact of green technologies in the state. Ward and Kagen will also speak about the next day’s Green Innovations 2009 symposium organized by the University’s new Environmental Management and Business Institute. The campus community is welcome to attend the press conference.
