UW-Green Bay, SNC to extend visiting scholars program

The leaders of UW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College will sign an agreement Monday (April 20) extending the joint St. Norbert College-UW-Green Bay International Visiting Scholars Program. UW-Green Bay interim Chancellor David Ward and St. Norbert College President Thomas Kunkel will sign the agreement at a public ceremony at noon at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County. Since it was established in 2003, the joint International Visiting Scholars Program has brought 10 scholars to the area for activities on the UW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College campuses, at local elementary and secondary schools, and at numerous other community locations. The program is supported by contributions from the two campuses and by donations from individuals and foundations. A fund on behalf of the program is administered by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
