“The Final Cause” is Prof. Terence O’Grady’s third and final opera composition as a faculty member for the Opera Workshop. He is retiring from his position as professor of music at the end of the spring semester. O’Grady has been with UW-Green Bay since 1975. His “A Diplomatic Affair” was first performed in 2003, and “The Wizard and the Shepardess” five years earlier.
