Gerds reading, Thursday
It’s not technically University-related, but given that over the course of his long career former Press-Gazette reporter Warren Gerds has written as many words about UW-Green Bay, its fine arts and the Weidner Center as anyone — and that he’s known by many on campus — we thought we’d share this. Gerds will read from, and talk about, his new book of semi-fiction, The Legend of Taylor Rapids, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 3) at the Reader’s Loft in Bellevue. We’re promised tasty chocolate, fascinating objects and stories, and readings from original books “past, present and future.” Read more.
