In the news: UW-Green Bay officers help kids “Shop with a Cop”

Four UW-Green Bay police officers donated their time to help local kids during the weekend, part of the annual community “Shop with a Cop” event. Held at Shopko stores, “Shop with a Cop” gave more than 160 area students the chance to buy gifts for their families — an opportunity they might not otherwise have had. Officer Nick Brown and his buddy were mentioned in Green Bay Press-Gazette coverage of the event, and Chief Tom Kujawa tells us Officer Kaitlyn Czarnecki (the department’s newest officer) and Officer Sabrina Duchateau (the most experienced) also took part. Rounding out the UW-Green Bay contingent was Officer Cindy Voigt, an LTE who works for Pulaski and attended the event as a member of that department.
