In the news: New SBDC director talks jobs, donuts, The Donald

The new director of UW-Green Bay’s Small Business Development Center was in demand for several local news stories last week, lending his expertise on topics from Dunkin’ Donuts to defining the “small” in small business. Ryan Kauth spoke Thursday (Oct. 4) to Fox 11’s Bill Miston, talking about marketing and franchising of the popular donut shop as several locations are planned to open in Northeastern Wisconsin. Also on Thursday, he talked with WFRV, Channel 5 about just what constitutes a “small business” following President Obama’s reference to Donald Trump during Wednesday’s (Oct. 3) debate. He also conducted interviews with the Chilton Times Journal and on Friday did a couple of live shots from campus, talking small business and job creation, with WFRV, Channel 5.
