Multicultural networking event is Sept. 27
Our friends in the American Intercultural Center have issued a special invitation to faculty and staff who work with multicultural student populations to attend Multicultural Networking: Connecting Campus-Community-Future 2012, a reception that will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 in Phoenix Room B of the University Union. A program initiated and conducted under the direction of Chancellor Tom Harden, the event is primarily targeted toward multicultural students and community professionals with multicultural backgrounds. Goals include teaching the importance of networking, creating opportunities to effectively build skills and encouraging ongoing mentor or internship relationships.
