Weidner Center lineup to be announced Tuesday

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is preparing to announce its 2012-13 Performing Arts Season lineup Tuesday (May 22), inviting patrons and friends who helped shape the season to a special event. We’re told the lineup includes Broadway, comedy, dance and more, a 16-show, 18-performance season designed to have broad-based appeal. The announcement is the latest step in the inaugural year of the University’s five-year Strategic Plan to reinvigorate the Weidner, which also includes tentative budgetary and staffing plans announced in December. Those invited to Tuesday’s event worked with an outside consultant to help shape the Weidner’s future.
