In the news: Alumni prepare for marathon volunteer duty
You may have caught a familiar face or two on the Monday, May 14 WLUK, Fox 11 News. UW-Green Bay Development Officer Tracy Heaser ’05, and former Alumni Relations Director Mark Brunette ‘85 were interviewed for a story on volunteering for Sunday’s (May 20) Cellcom Green Bay Marathon. The two were among the UW-Green Bay alumni at TitletownBrewing Co. for a volunteer training session. They shared their tips on the best way to dispense water to thirsty runners, which we can tell you is a critical part of race day for half-and full marathoners alike. Another fun tidbit: Alumnus Ben Krumholz, an ’09 Communication grad, was the reporter on the story. See it here.
