LSU too much for Phoenix women
The UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team could not overcome a 20-point second-half deficit Sunday evening, as the Phoenix dropped a 69-59 decision to No. 6-seed LSU at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge. Senior Kati Harty tallied 17 points in her final collegiate game to lead the Phoenix while Kayla Tetschlag added 16 points off the bench. The Phoenix exited the NCAA tournament with a season record of 29-4. It had a 21-game winning streak heading into the tournament and led the nation in scoring defense at 50.2 points allowed per game.
