Wardle’s team faces tough assignment at Youngstown

The UW-Green Bay men’s team played solid basketball down the stretch, winning five straight and eight of 10. The streak allowed the Phoenix to finish over .500 both in the regular season and the conference (15-14 overall, 10-8 Horizon League). Coach Brian Wardle’s team begins Horizon tournament play with a game at 6:05 p.m. CST Tuesday (Feb. 28) in Youngstown, Ohio to play the Penguins, who have a record identical to the Phoenix.
