Faculty note: Prestigious appointment for Prof. Ortiz

Prof. Cristina Ortiz of Humanistic Studies has received a two-year appointment as a member of ANLE (Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española), the U.S. affiliate of the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language, the institution in charge of regulating the use of the Spanish language. During the two years of her appointment, Professor Ortiz will be serving on different national committees. Membership to ANLE is by nomination only. More information.
