Photographer, sculptor Davis giving talk Thursday

UW-Green Bay is hosting an artist talk with photographer and sculptor Sam Davis this Thursday, March 5. Davis is a multimedia artist who earned his Master’s of Fine Arts degree from the University of Las Vegas. He has worked as a studio assistant for Jerry Ulesmann and Maggie Taylor as well as the Guggenheim Museum in Las Vegas. Davis is currently a faculty member at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif. Davis describes his photography and sculpture as, “just imagine Christopher Walken saying ‘ROBOTS!…Robots in the desert!!’…” The event is this Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Studio Arts room 411. All students and faculty are welcome to attend. The student Art Agency group is sponsoring the talk.
