Neufeld was education/arts supporter

Funeral services were held Saturday at Old St. Joseph Church on the St. Norbert College campus for Evaleen (Evie) Neufeld, 86, who passed away on Sept. 5. For many years a social worker with the Green Bay Catholic Diocese, Neufeld was active in support of Encompass Early Education and Care, SNC, public broadcasting and many community causes.  She and her family were early and prominent supporters of the Weidner Center, with a major gift to UW-Green Bay at the project’s outset in 1988.
